w/ Genpop Interactive
Genpop Interactive is a game studio founded by multi-platinum producer BloodPop to develop CODE:SLIME— a third-person competitive shooter with global esport ambitions. I joined the project early as UI & 2D Designer.
Blood had a strong concept and was ready to seek funding, but the game was still in prototype stage, with disparate concept art from a variety of freelancers. I worked closely with him to translate the vision into a cohesive pitch deck, and we secured $16M in seed funding from 1UP Ventures, Good Smile Company, and Makers Fund, among others.

As development progressed without a dedicated art director, I stepped into the role— establishing the visual guideline documents eventually used by the entire art department and managing our relationship with an external concept studio. I designed UI/UX concepts and wireframes for the in-game HUD and out-of-match menu experience, alongside branding, in-game signage, and environmental concepts.
The game, now titled SLIMECORE, opened to community playtesting on Discord and quickly built a dedicated fanbase, with hundreds of players tuning in for a livestreamed 5v5 invitational, complete with motion graphics and live commentary.
